§ 7-9. Lot records.

  • The city clerk shall keep proper records in which the deeds to all such burial spaces shall be recorded at length, and certify the conveyance as to its proper recording. In connection with all such records, the city clerk shall also keep a general index in which shall be noted alphabetically the name of the party to every such instrument of conveyance. Any person offering any such conveyance for record shall pay to the city clerk a recording fee of one dollar ($1.00), which shall be turned into the city treasury and credited to the cemetery fund.
