§ 19-41. Park hours.

(a)

The Ella W. Sharp Park shall be closed to the public between dusk and dawn daily. The following shall not be prohibited by this section:

(1)

Traffic passing through the park on the paved roads.

(2)

Persons upon museum grounds in connection with specific events sanctioned in advance by the Sharp Park Museum Board or its designated representative.

(3)

Persons using the park in connection with specific events sanctioned in advance by the Sharp Park Board of Trustees or its designated representative.

(b)

All other city parks shall be closed to the public between dusk and dawn daily.

(c)

The director of parks, recreation and cemeteries may allow exceptions to the park hours at his or her discretion for good cause.
