This article shall be construed as supplemental to, and not in conflict with, 1917
PA 350, being Michigan's Second Hand Dealers and Junk Dealers Act, MCL 445.401 through
445.408 and Public Act 273 of 1917, being Michigan's Pawnbrokers Act, MCL 446.201
through 446.219, or as those are amended. The absence of any provision contained in
these acts from this article is not evidence of intent that such provision would not
have full force and effect.
