§ 16-357. Penalty.

(1)

Prosecutions for violations of this article may be commenced by arrest, complaint, and warrant, or the issuance of an appearance ticket by the police department. Further, the City of Jackson may commence an action in circuit court for injunctive or other equitable or legal relief to prevent a continuing violation of this article.

(2)

Any person violating any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished in accordance with section 1-18 of this Code, as amended.
