§ 11-14. Requirements for floodway district conditional uses.

  • (a)

    Application for any conditional use permit permissible under the provisions of this chapter shall be made to the zoning board of appeals through the building inspector, by filling in an official conditional use permit application form; submitting required data, exhibits, and information; and depositing the required fee as established by resolution of the city council except that no fee shall be required of any governmental body or agency. No part of such fee shall be returnable to the applicant.

    (b)

    An application for a conditional use permit shall contain:

    (1)

    The applicant's name and address in full, a statement that the applicant is the owner involved or is acting on the owner's behalf, the address of the property involved; an accurate survey drawing of the property showing the existing and proposed location of all structures thereon, the types thereof, and their uses; and a statement of supporting data, exhibits, information; and evidence regarding the required findings set forth in this chapter.

    (2)

    A letter of approval from the state department of natural resources.

    (3)

    A location map including existing contours at two-foot intervals.

    (4)

    A map showing proposed grading and drainage plans including the location of all public drainage easements, the limits and extent of the proposed fill, excavation, and occupation.

    (5)

    A statement from the city engineer concerning feasibility of the proposal and his approval.

    (6)

    Any other information requested by the zoning board of appeals.
