§ 17-176. Impoundment of vehicle upon arrest; violation of section 18-136.

Upon the arrest of a person charged with a violation of section 18-136 of the City Code, any vehicle operated by the person arrested shall be impounded by the police, and shall not be released until payment of an impoundment fee which, at a minimum, shall reflect the actual costs to the city of vehicle transportation, towing and storage by the city or an independent contractor retained by the city.
