§ 17-138. Permit.

Any person owning a currently unregistered, dismantled, partially dismantled or inoperative motor vehicle, and who is repairing, or is about to have such motor vehicle repaired, may obtain a permit from the chief building inspector to allow such motor vehicle to remain on the premises owned or occupied by the applicant for a period of an additional ten (10) days beyond the seven (7) days permitted in section 17-137. The chief building inspector shall issue a permit under this section upon receipt of a ten-dollar fee from the applicant. Such fees shall be paid into the general fund of the city.
