§ 16-341. Secondhand dealers—Prohibition on acting as pawnbroker.
Latest version.
No secondhand dealer shall loan money on deposit, or pledge of personal property,
or other valuable thing, other than securities or printed evidence of indebtedness,
or deal in the purchasing of personal property or other valuable thing on condition
of selling the same back again at a stipulated price, without obtaining a pawnbroker's
license pursuant to the Pawnbrokers Act, and section 16-333 of this Code, as amended.
