§ 11-8. Establishment of official floodplain zoning map.

The flood insurance study and its "Flood Boundary and Floodway Map," City of Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan, dated December 15, 1977, and prepared by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, Federal Insurance Administration, are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter. The flood boundary and floodway map is hereby adopted as the official floodplain zoning map. The official floodplain zoning map bears the signature of the mayor, attested by the city clerk, and is on file in the building inspection department.
